Real Estate Marketing Data X-Change, Inc or REDX is often mistyped as RED X, RedEX, the red ex, or RED "X", however the correct spelling is typed in all capital letters as REDX.
Our mission is to provide first class lead generation solutions by delivering agents and brokerages the highest quality tools, information, and training. Founded in 2003, REDX started with the pioneering idea of creating real estate solutions for an expired lead product. The idea began as a nights-and-weekend basement activity, but quickly turned into something bigger as original processes, unique delivery, and exclusive data aggregation were developed to fill a market niche. REDX CEO, Mark Leck, was the originator of the technological real estate marketing idea and our first programmer. Mark was responsible for making the concept a reality and inventing real estate solutions that drove the creation of the company’s groundbreaking first product offering called REDX Expired Leads. On September 22, 2003 our first client signed up.
January 2004 was the official introduction of REDX Expireds to the market. From that point on, we maintained steady growth and it became more and more exciting to see agents have success in listing more properties with our first real estate solutions. We continued to develop and refine the system due to our obsession with data quality, and the recommendations from our amazing clients.
In, 2007, ahead of the housing bubble, we launched our second real estate solutions, REDX FSBO Leads. Unique in its integration with the REDX Expired product and delivery through the REDX Lead Manager, our FSBOs were quickly adopted as the new for sale by owner lead standard. As the Great Recession saw the unprecedented decline in the housing market, our Expired and FSBO lead products offered real estate marketing professionals a timely solution to identify homeowners who needed their help.
Again, our passion is offering the best leads, which means the best homeowner data in real estate marketing. As we continued to grow during the recession we knew agents were looking for pre-foreclosure leads as housing took an about face with the increase of short sales and foreclosures. In 2011, we released our third real estate marketing solution, REDX Pre-Foreclosures as the first solutions for real estate lead generation product to combine Notice of Default, Notice of Sale, and Lis Pendens and our proprietary algorithms and MLS data to give agents the most comprehensive information about a distressed property homeowner.
Additionally, in 2011 we released our groundbreaking Data Quality Study. Originally intended to be an internal document, we felt the misunderstanding of data standards in real estate warranted a comprehensive study of our own products compared to the 22 largest data providers including our closest competitors. The study confirmed that REDX is the number one expired lead provider and inspired important changes to our algorithms to ensure our competitiveness as the number one provider of homeowner phone numbers based on a property address. The High Octane Upgrade was the result of the extensive study and led to more phone numbers while still maintaining our high standards.
