High Octane: Real Estate's Highest Quantity of Quality Leads

High Octane represents the highest standard in homeowner contact data. Inspired by our passion to deliver the best leads to our clients, REDX conducted the most comprehensive study on homeowner phone numbers in the industry. The 2011 Data Quality Study was released in September of that year, along with the free High Octane Upgrade to all clients. Since our inception, homeowner data has driven our business. Prior to 2011 we made several improvements to our algorithms and never published or promoted them. However, High Octane along with the study raised the standard to an unprecedented level and statistically demonstrated what “quality” can and should represent in a sea of inaccurate, unsubstantiated, and anecdotal evidence about homeowner data that is perpetuated in this industry.

The study became the blueprint to the High Octane formulas and algorithms. We spent several months and more than $20,000 studying and comparing our information along with 22 different data providers, including our nearest competitors. A random selection of more than 1,000 expired MLS listings from across the country were sent to each data provider. For each property address approximately 17 phone numbers were found - which showed how many bad phone numbers are available for an address. We then made 40,580 phone calls to determine how effective each data provider was at providing an accurate phone number for a given address.

To eliminate bias, the study was verified by Dr. Gilbert Fellingham, a statistics professor from Brigham Young University. Based on his methodology, the study determined that our pre-upgrade search algorithm already outperformed every comparable product from our competitors. The High Octane upgrade research process outperformed our original expireds service by a 60% improvement.
